HRB Experience Century City

Amazing selection of hand rolls here. What really impressed me was how fast we were seated for a Saturday night (party of 4). The 6 roll combo is definitely worth it, you really get some bang for your buck here! You feel extra fancy because your soy sauce is dispensed through a pipette so you can get the best drops on your rolls. Not only are the rolls delicious and nicely prepared, the sake and beer are perfect pairings as well! To be honest it didn’t feel too expensive because I feel like for the price, it’s worth it for the great meal and experience. The service wasn’t too slow either, so that was nice! Will definitely be back here again.

I came here one day while wanting to get a nice refreshing meal with my friend. This is really a hidden gem! It surprises me that this place isn’t very crowded despite being right in the open on the second level. Sushi quality is GREAT, like butter. My favorite is the salmon sashimi. One of the best dishes I have had, I strongly recommend this. Cucumber salad was good, I wish the skin was cut off and a bit more sauce but that’s just a preference and I still recommend it! All rolls are yummy and the edamame is delicious. Great atmosphere, not loud, and I love how open it is. Very chill and laid back (in the best way). I recommend coming on a sunny day, it might be a bit of a struggle to sit at the bar when it’s windy, but as a person who enjoys being outside it doesn’t bother me. Not crowded at all, and staff is super nice. Talkative and caring, but took a little longer then preferred to get our check. Prices are decent, makes sense for the taste and quality though! I don’t usually order a big portion so it was the perfect cost but maybe for someone with a bigger appetite it might be a little pricey. Best spot for nice dates, quick meals, and so on. I love how the soy sauce is put into a little dripping jar, so cute. Overall, great! I very much recommend. I will definitely be coming here a lot, will be amazing on a summer day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Every time i’ve been here i’ve never been disappointed. Sushi is amazing. I got handrolls and my friend got the Omakase Tokyo. Service is incredibly friendly and food comes out quickly. They give you cold water as soon as you sit and cute soy sauce bottles. You’re on the second floor so even when it’s hot the wind helps a lot.

I had the best time here! Looking for a decent bite to eat at the mall can be a task but the food was amazing and Felipe was so attentive and made my experience that more enjoyable! Will definitely be going back

Actually some of the best sushi I have had. Their signature hand roll is delicious and the salmon tastes like butter.... I had to stop myself because I would have eaten their entire stock. Also my server, Aamani, was so fun and so sweet, thank you!! Must try!!

HRB is a great experience. The sushi quality is top notch. You can tell the sushi here is more traditional and simple, they let the sushi speak for itself and you can tell the quality of the fish really shines through. Yes the meal is expensive. We spent 98 for a combo 6, miso soup, and a sushi roll. You are paying for quality. If you are starving I might suggest something else. If you are looking for a high quality sushi experience I would suggest checking out HRB.

Open space with a high chair to enjoy 360-degree views. Prices are high, but the quality also delivers the expectation (high-quality seaweed). They leave a full-experience DIY hand roll to enjoy it better and make your way along with instructions. Worth it, and it all tasted delicious. To avoid getting soggy or soft with the seaweed, order time by time so it's slowly served, and enjoy the fresh and crispy handroll.
